I love to do crafts!

I'm going to dedicate this blog to become a record for all my creative outputs. Actually I've always love to do crafts since I was in primary school. I remember digging through my art and crafts supplies whenever I'm free to do some simple crafts, like making birthday cards for friends. Somehow from secondary school onwards, I hardly did any crafting due to school homework and pursuing other interests like playing flute in the school band and sports.

Now that I'm a SAHM, I've started to do crafts again. I enjoy making crafts for love ones. Not only do I feel a sense of happiness and achievement when I can make something nice, I feel blessed when my effort is being appreciated by the recipient. I guess it makes my role as SAHM more worthwhile, as compared to my other friends who are working mums.

I'm glad that my DH is also a crafty person like I am. He used to build airplane models and he collects tonnes of unbuilt ones at home. He said that he's going to build all of them when he retires. I'm not so sure whether he really will retire and then start building his airplane models...

This "Welcome" and "God bless our home" signs were done by DH when we were living in Texas last year. He's got such a marvelous handwriting! Rare for medical doctors to have such nice, neat legible handwritings. Since this is the first official entry for my crafting blog, I'm going to dedicate it to my DH.
